(IHS Jane's Defence Weekly) Tim Ripley - Two major Russian naval vessels - the frigate Admiral Essen and the anti-submarine frigate Pytivyy - were photographed passing southwards through the Bosphorus by independent ship observers on 12-13 March. The ships will join the Russian naval contingent off the coast of Syria.
