(Ha'aretz) Yaniv Kubovich - The Israeli army fired several tank shells at Syrian army positions across the border from the Israeli Golan Heights on Sunday after Syrian forces entered the demilitarized zone in violation of Israeli-Syrian cease-fire agreements. Last week, Israel shot down a Syrian drone on an intelligence-gathering mission that had entered the demilitarized zone and flew toward Israel.
