(Ha'aretz) Noa Shpigel - A Syrian drone on an intelligence gathering mission in the Quneitra area was shot down by Israel's Patriot missile defense system on Saturday after it entered the demilitarized zone and flew towards Israel. "The State of Israel views with great severity any violation of sovereignty and will respond with force to any provocation," Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said following the incident.
