(Defense News) Jen Judson and Barbara Opall-Rome - Israel is readying its Iron Dome air defense system for its first intercept test in the U.S. as the U.S. Army seeks a solution for medium- and short-range missile threats against U.S. bases in Europe. The system has scored more than 1,500 intercepts against Gaza-launched threats since 2011.
