(Ha'aretz) Yarden Zur and Nir Hasson - The number of Arab residents of east Jerusalem studying the Israeli curriculum for matriculation has risen to 5,800 students this year, a 14% increase compared to last year, the Jerusalem municipality said. This is still less than 6% of the total number of students, though many study for the Israeli exams in private frameworks after school.
