(NGO Monitor) As a number of European governments have joined the U.S. in demanding that the Palestinian Authority end its policy of paying salaries to convicted terrorists, a number of Palestinian non-governmental organizations (NGOs) receiving European government funding have asserted that terrorists have a "right" to receive salaries. These European-supported NGOs include the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR), Al-Haq, Hurryyat and Al-Dameer.
