(Globes) The Israel Air Force is replacing its manned Sea Scan maritime patrol aircraft with the Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd. maritime version of the Heron 1 UAV. The maritime Herons will provide comprehensive protection of Israel's coastline and strategic infrastructures, including offshore natural gas production installations.
