Israel Unveils Remembrance Hall for Fallen Soldiers Ahead of Memorial Day

(Times of Israel) Luke Tress - Israel's Defense Ministry unveiled a Remembrance Hall for the country's fallen soldiers at the entrance to Jerusalem's Mount Herzl national cemetery on Thursday, ahead of next week's Memorial Day on May 1. The site commemorates every one of the more than 23,000 soldiers killed since before the establishment of the state. The names of the fallen soldiers and the dates of their deaths are inscribed on the bricks lining the wall of the 260-meter path.
