(BBC News) Police say they foiled an active terror plot on Thursday after a woman was shot during a raid on a house in Willesden, northwest London. The woman, in her 20s, was one of the subjects of the investigation. A neighbor said the family who lived at the house were from Somalia. A raid also took place in Kent, with six people arrested in total. The Metropolitan Police said the suspects were arrested on suspicion of the commission, preparation and instigation of terrorist acts.
