Poll: Most Palestinians Don't Support a Two-State Solution

(JTA) A majority of Palestinians do not support a two-state solution to the conflict with Israel, a survey released Wednesday found. The survey, conducted in December and released by the Tami Steinmetz Center for Peace Research at Tel Aviv University and the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research in Ramallah, with EU funding, found that 44% of Palestinians back a two-state solution. The survey found that 58% of Jewish Israelis and 57% of Palestinians supported a broader regional peace involving the Arab world and Israel.
