(AP) Gaza's second and largest desalination plant opened Thursday that will initially produce 6,000 cubic meters of water a day. The EU invested $10.6 million in the plant with UNICEF. There are plans to double its capacity by 2019. Hamas did not participate in the project, and it was not represented at the opening ceremony.
