(AP) The U.S. Attorney's Office says Bassem Afif Herz, 31, was sentenced on Dec. 12 in federal court in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to 8 years in prison plus 3 years of supervised release after pleading guilty to charges related to the shipping of guns to Lebanon.
