(Washington Post) David Filipov - A Turkish police officer, screaming, "Don't forget Aleppo!" shot and killed the Russian ambassador to Turkey, Andrei Karlov, at an art gallery in Ankara on Monday. The gunman, Mevlut Mert Altintas, 22, also shouted, "We are those who pledged jihad to Muhammad!" before being killed by police.
