(ANSAmed-Italy) More Italians emigrated to Israel in 2015 than any other year since 1948-49, Italian-Israeli demographer Sergio Della Pergola said Thursday. "The figure was 353 - which could seem small but it really isn't, compared with the only roughly 30,000 Italian Jews.'' Della Pergola stressed that ''steadily rising levels of anti-Semitism was a matter of large concern'' for Italian Jews who moved to Israel, as was the case with other European Jews.
