(CNN) Barbara Starr and Jim Acosta - The no. 2 figure in ISIS, Haji Mutazz, was killed in an Aug. 18 drone strike on a car near Mosul, Iraq, U.S. National Security Council spokesman Ned Price announced Friday. Mutazz was in charge of ISIS operations in Iraq and was a key military planner.
