No Deployment of Turkish Troops in Iraq

(NTV MSNBC-Turkey) After months of wrangling between the U.S. and Turkey over the possible deployment of up to 10,000 Turkish troops in Iraq, the matter is closed, Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer said Wednesday. Ankara set as conditions of deployment having control of its own discrete zone of operations, and for its troops to be under direct Turkish command.
