Fighting Anti-Israelism and Anti-Semitism on the American University Campus: Faculty Grassroots Efforts

Beck by Manfred Gerstenfeld - Many new mutations of American anti-Semitism, and in particular its anti-Israeli forms, originate on the university campus. Much pro-Israel advocacy is carried out by new grassroots faculty groups such as Scholars for Peace in the Middle East (SPME), whose preferred approach is through collegial professorial contact. Only if these efforts prove ineffective are cases of anti-Semitism turned over to Jewish defense organizations.
