Israeli Arrow Anti-Missile Missile Shoots Down Scud in U.S. Test

(Ha'aretz) Amos Harel - An Israeli Arrow anti-missile missile intercepted an incoming Scud ballistic missile in a test over the Pacific Ocean Thursday. The Scud, confiscated by the U.S. from Iraq, was launched by the U.S. from Point Magu near Los Angeles. Aryeh Herzog of the Israel Defense Ministry said, "We will continue development. We want to achieve capabilities against future threats, such as those being developed in Iran."
