Israel Develops Coronavirus Test Producing Results in One Minute
(Jerusalem Post) Celia Jean - A new method of testing for the coronavirus that produces results in a minute and has a success rate of 90% has been developed by Ben-Gurion University Prof. Gabby Sarusi, deputy head for research at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Ongoing trials aim to determine if the test can identify the specific stage of the infection. The testing method uses particles from a breath test or from throat and nose swabs and analyzes the samples using a chip with specially designed sensors.
