No One Jailed in Iran for Their Opinions? Many Disagree

(Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty) Golnaz Esfandiari - "We do not jail people for their opinions," Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told PBS host Charlie Rose in April. Yet former political prisoners and others were quick to take to social media to dismiss Zarif's claim as a "lie," pointing out that dozens of political prisoners - including journalists, bloggers, and political activists - are languishing in Iranian prisons.
