California: State to Divest Iran Holdings
[New York Times] Jesse McKinley - California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said he would sign a bill forcing two of its huge pension funds to divest from any company doing business in Iran. The bill, which sailed through the legislature earlier this year, would pull out at least $3.4 billion invested by two retirement funds controlled by the state's public employees and teachers.
