Canadian Student Union Bans Israel Apartheid Week

(Winnipeg Jewish Review-Canada) Rhonda Spivak - The University of Manitoba Students Union has voted 19-15 to ban Israel Apartheid Week on campus and strip the group Students Against Israel Apartheid of official status. Student Josh Morry argued that official university policy includes a commitment "to an inclusive and respectful work and learning environment free from discrimination or harassment as prohibited in the Manitoba Human Rights Code."
