Dubai Hit Squad Used Identities of British Nationals Living in Israel
(Times-UK) Catherine Philp, Richard Ford, and Sheera Frenkel - The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office confirmed that the identities used by six members of a hit squad that killed Hamas military leader Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai on Jan. 20 were those of British passport holders living in Israel. While the names, passport numbers and dates of birth on the fraudulent passports matched the originals, the photographs and signatures differed.
